The Board of Trustees of the Starkville-Oktibbeha County Public Library consists of six members; three members appointed by the mayor of Starkville with approval of the Board of Aldermen and three members appointed by the Oktibbeha County Board of Supervisors. Board members are appointed for five-year terms and may serve up to two consecutive terms. In the event a Board of Trustees seat is vacated, the seat shall be filled, and the finished term will not count towards a Trustee’s two consecutive term limit.

BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETINGS
The Board of Trustees meets the 4th Monday (except for holidays or extenuating circumstances) of every odd numbered month at 4:00 pm in the Mississippi Room of the Stark Annex in the Starkville Public Library. Any additional called meetings will be advertised via the Starkville Public Library Facebook page.
