The Maben Public Library is a branch of the Starkville-Oktibbeha County Library System. In 1967 the Maben library was moved from a small inadequate frame building into a modern A-frame building which now contains a large children's area, kitchen facilities and storage room upstairs, with adult fiction, nonfiction, biographies, and reference downstairs.

The Maben Library features an automated circulation system and public access terminals for internet use.
All computer patrons must have a current library card.

Books or materials that are not available can be borrowed through interlibrary loan.

8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
12 noon - 4:30 p.m. 
Monday,  Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
9 a.m. - 12 noon- Saturday 

Closed Wednesday and Sunday

Children's Story Hour:
Ages 3-6
Every Friday at 10 a.m.
